Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Java microservices and API services with clear, versioned API contracts.
• Implement and manage API management patterns on Azure, including secure access and consistent request/response handling.
• Build services that are scalable and resilient, applying performance and reliability best practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations between microservices and external systems through well-defined APIs.
• Support deployment and quality through automated testing, monitoring readiness, and production support activities.

Skills Required:

• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in Java backend services, microservices, and API development
• Azure (hands-on experience deploying and operating services on Azure)
• API development and API management concepts (REST-style APIs, API contracts, versioning)
• Java (backend service development, concurrency/performance considerations)
• Microservices (service decomposition, inter-service communication, reliability patterns)

Good to Have:

• AWS experience
• Agentic AI exposure (practical understanding of agentic workflows and integrations)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
