Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate and improve Kafka and Confluent platforms supporting business-critical banking and BFSI integrations.
• Define reliability standards, operational procedures and incident response practices for production messaging and integration services.
• Manage Kubernetes-hosted workloads and use Terraform to provision and maintain repeatable cloud infrastructure.
• Design monitoring and observability coverage for brokers, consumers, producers, connectors, APIs and integration dependencies.
• Investigate complex production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement measures that improve resilience and service continuity.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Confluent and production operations in high-availability environments.
• Deep understanding of site reliability engineering, Kubernetes and Terraform-based infrastructure management.
• Practical experience with monitoring, observability and reliability engineering for event-driven architectures.
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integration, cloud platforms and production systems in banking or BFSI environments.

Good to Have:

• Prometheus, Grafana, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Linux, Docker, Helm, REST, Java, Python and PostgreSQL.

Education:  B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related engineering discipline
