Description

You will administer RedHat Linux environments, managing server builds, configurations, and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform server builds, configuration, and patching using RPM, Yast, and Yum.
• Manage LVM, file systems, and kernel tuning for performance optimization.
• Administer RedHat Linux clusters using PCS and handle subscription management.
• Troubleshoot server issues, including permissions, system load, service failures, and network problems.
• Implement server hardening, vulnerability assessments, and migration upgrades.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Linux administration, specifically RedHat environments.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with LVM, file systems, and kernel tuning.
• Knowledge of RedHat cluster administration using PCS.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot mail services, NTP, and proxy settings.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech, B.E., or B.Sc. degree in any branch.
