Description

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and data migration solutions on AWS.

Build and implement secure Virtual Private Cloud environments including VPC, IAM, and network access controls. Develop scalable production systems using Elastic Load Balancers and Auto Scaling across multiple availability zones. Integrate Informatica with Teradata appliances and manage data migration using DMS and S3 COPY. Assess client technology landscapes for cloud suitability and define new architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud migration projects to move on-premise workloads to AWS environments.
• Design serverless architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, and RESTful services.
• Manage cloud monitoring via CloudWatch and implement data migration strategies.
• Apply strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPN connectivity, subnets, and security groups.
• Utilize DevOps tools, orchestration, and agile development processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in consulting, industry, or technology roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, KMS, Lambda, IAM, Kinesis, ECS, and EMR.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, XML flat file handling, and Teradata integration.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2.
• AWS Certified Associate or Professional certification.
• Working knowledge of Unix scripting and DWH principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Axon Data Governance, EDC Data Catalog, or Informatica Cloud Integration.
• Familiarity with BDM Big Data.
