Description

You will drive the color, material, and finish (CMF) strategy for consumer electronics and wearable hardware. You will own the CMF product specifications from initial concept through to production.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop proprietary hardware styles, construction details, and material combinations.
• Create fully resolved CMF strategies for presentation to internal teams, partners, and manufacturers.
• Resolve design, prototyping, and manufacturing issues during the development phase.
• Gather and share market trends across consumer electronics, eyewear, and fashion industries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a CMF Designer or Developer.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD and 2D color renderings to communicate design vision.
• Working knowledge of plastic injection molding and metal fabrication techniques.
• Experience with resin development, coating technologies, and plastics decoration processes.
• Technical understanding of fabrics and textiles.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 3D CAD and visualization tools.
