Description

Analyze and normalize high-volume software and hardware data to build and maintain a Software Asset Management (SAM) content library.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer data to map entities to software libraries and create normalization rules.
• Research software information to expand the library and manage IT product SKU data.
• Perform quality assurance on curated content to ensure accuracy and interpret licensing terms.
• Transform network discovery data into actionable information and manage multiple product catalogues.
• Create and update ITAM content process documents.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of corporate experience.
• Strong manual software or data testing skills with knowledge of quality release concepts.
• Experience in the ITAM industry or auditing hardware and software content assets.
• Ability to manage and verify high volumes of data against strict targets.
• Understanding of software suites, bundle products, and hardware manufacturers/models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail regarding content quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of ITAM tools such as Snow, Flexnet, SCCM, Map, or ILMT.
• Knowledge of licensing metrics and contract types (EA, TLP, CLP) for Microsoft and Adobe.
• Experience with VB scripts for data gathering via SCCM.
