Description

You will manage the installation, commissioning, and technical execution of automation projects on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation and commissioning of automation projects, including Automated Material Handling Systems such as conveyors, ASRS, lifts, and robots.
• Program, install, and troubleshoot hardware and software for standard and safety PLCs.
• Manage on-site resources, materials, and documentation to ensure zero stock variance and adherence to project scope.
• Monitor project pace, maintain punch lists, and resolve technical issues to ensure quality control.
• Liaise with design, IT, and planning teams to address site issues and manage contractors.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in automation project installation and commissioning.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PLC/HMI platforms.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols: Ethernet IP, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings using Eplan or AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with barcode scanners and print & apply systems.
• Competency in hardware and software troubleshooting for industrial control systems.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kepware and other OPC servers.
