Description

You will design and develop control systems, including PLC-based hardware and software, while supporting installation and technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Execute bench tests and modify software to ensure proper sensor and actuator functionality.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and resolve basic issues or change requests.
• Investigate project requirements and develop solution plans aligned with economic and safety considerations.
• Prepare cost estimates, compile equipment information, and draft appropriation requests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in controls engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in developing and designing control systems and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) hardware and software.
• Strong understanding of controls networking and data transfer in production environments.
• Ability to analyze electrical control systems for troubleshooting and restoration.
• Familiarity with sensor technology selection and application for accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of controls safety protocols and hazard recognition in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing analysis, simulation, and prognostics for downtime prevention.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical details to diverse audiences.
