Description

Manage and support workload automation and output management within mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage job scheduling definitions, including parameters, conditions, and resources.
• Utilize calendars and SMART Tables for job scheduling.
• Monitor active environments using screen commands to confirm job orders and review status.
• Perform job maintenance including checking logs, holding, deleting, or killing job orders.
• Install and configure Control-M as part of the administrative role.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe environments as a System Engineer or in Production Control.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M Workload Automation interface.
• Proficiency in job scheduling and calendar management.
• Experience with workload monitoring and batch processing.
• Ability to manage job lifecycle within active environments.
• Proven experience in Control-M installation and configuration.
