Description

You will administer and support the enterprise workload automation environment, ensuring high availability of scheduling services and reliable batch processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers, and Agents across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Create, modify, and maintain job definitions, calendars, scheduling policies, and complex workflows.
• Troubleshoot job failures, agent connectivity issues, and server problems, performing root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Automate routine administration tasks using Shell, PowerShell, or Python scripting.
• Manage Control-M security, user roles, and access controls while supporting high availability and disaster recovery activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering BMC Control-M.
• Strong knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, and Control-M Agents.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows server administration.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with Control-M upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for production support.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Control-M Managed File Transfer (MFT) or Automation API.
• Exposure to integrating Control-M with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
