Description

You will administer the enterprise Control-M workload automation environment, ensuring high availability of scheduling services across Development, Test, and Production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Control-M Enterprise Manager, Servers, and Agents across Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments.
• Monitor daily batch processing, create job definitions, and manage calendars, scheduling policies, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot job failures, agent connectivity issues, and server problems, performing root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Configure security, user roles, and access controls while supporting high availability, disaster recovery, and backup activities.
• Automate routine administration tasks using Shell, PowerShell, or Python scripting and maintain operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering BMC Control-M.
• Strong knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Manager, Control-M Server, and Control-M Agents.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows server administration.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with Control-M upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Familiarity with file transfer, database jobs, and scheduling dependencies.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of change management and incident management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Control-M Managed File Transfer (MFT), Automation API, or Workload Change Manager.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience integrating Control-M with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
