Description

You will manage and automate batch workflows and job scheduling using Control-M.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate batch workflows using Control-M Automation API and JSON scripting for scalable job definitions.
• Design automated job scheduling, triggering mechanisms, and advanced dependency logic.
• Develop SQL scripts to support automation logic, validations, and conditional execution.
• Integrate Control-M with databases and external systems to automate ETL tasks.
• Build scripts for dynamic job creation, parameterization, and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Control-M, including scheduling, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in Control-M Automation API and JSON scripting.
• Strong SQL scripting skills for database automation and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of job triggering via file events, time, or custom conditions.
• Experience with Control-M features including calendars, conditions, resources, and SMART folders.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to integrate Control-M with databases and cloud platforms.
