Description

You will design, implement, and maintain batch scheduling solutions using BMC Control-M.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop batch scheduling workflows to automate and orchestrate job execution.
• Create and maintain Control-M job definitions, calendars, schedules, and dependencies.
• Integrate Control-M with enterprise systems to streamline end-to-end processing workflows.
• Implement monitoring solutions and configure alerts to proactively identify job failures.
• Analyze batch processing performance and tune scheduling parameters for efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Control-M Developer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of BMC Control-M, including job scheduling, dependencies, and calendars.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting, Perl, or Python for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M, Zena, and Datastage.
• Experience managing batch jobs and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of batch processing concepts and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and principles.
