Description

Lead the derivation of control requirements and integration of features into embedded vehicle propulsion systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer systems engineers to gather requirements and develop concept documents.
• Act as a technical liaison between the customer and offshore development teams.
• Lead the integration of control features into embedded software for vehicle propulsion systems.
• Design and implement core functions using Model Based Development tools.
• Collaborate with customer teams on rapid vehicle prototyping and maintain detailed architecture documentation.

Required Skills

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in control systems or software development.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow for Model Based Development.
• Experience in classic control design, including designing, developing, and tuning PID controllers.
• Experience designing and developing automotive control features.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug control software, hardware, and system integration issues.
• Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development.

Preferred Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing electric propulsion controls.
