Lead the development life-cycle for aircraft system and sub-system controls.
Responsibilities
Lead design, development, integration, verification, and validation for aircraft system controls.
Collaborate with customer teams to translate specifications into requirements, modeling, and testing.
Develop high and low-level software requirements and execute requirements-based testing.
Perform dynamic system analysis and simulation to support Model Based Design and Development efforts.
Manage requirements through the full development lifecycle.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of aerospace experience, or a Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience.
Proficiency with Mathworks tools including Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow.
Experience in controls modeling and analysis using Mathworks tools.
Strong background in control theory and control processes.
Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) techniques for verification and validation.
