Description

Lead the development life-cycle for aircraft system and sub-system controls, from design through verification and validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and validate aircraft system controls.
• Collaborate with customers to translate specifications into requirements, models, and test cases.
• Develop high and low-level software requirements and execute requirements-based testing.
• Perform dynamic system analysis and simulation for Model Based Design.
• Manage requirements throughout the full development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of aerospace experience, or a Master's with 3-5 years.
• Proficiency with Mathworks tools including Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Strong background in control theory and control processes.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) verification.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with aircraft applications and DOORS.
• Experience with Atlassian tools.
