Description

Design, develop, and maintain equipment for monitoring and controlling engineering systems and processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical design schedules from specification concept through system completion.
• Test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments.
• Analyze plant processes to design and implement technical improvements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues.
• Perform technical calculations for electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience, or a Master’s/PhD with 1-2 years of experience.
• Mathworks proficiency including Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, and Simulink Test.
• Embedded C programming.
• Python scripting.
• Version control using ClearCase and git.
• Strong problem-solving and independent time management skills.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentoring through constructive feedback.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data links such as CAN/J1939 and Ethernet.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Experience with IVY, Diab compiler, pOSEK, DAT-K, CANalyzer, Lauterbach Debugger, or CANape.
