Description

You will design, program, and test automated control systems for electrical power applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop production drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and operation manuals.
• Program PLCs using Schneider and Rockwell Allen-Bradley platforms, adapting templates for project-specific needs.
• Configure electrical power protection relays from Schweitzer, GE, ABB, or Basler.
• Perform engineering tests, Customer Witness Tests (CWT), and support field start-up activities.
• Inspect switchgear structures and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in the Automated Controls industry and Power Systems.
• Expertise in PLC programming for Schneider Modicon and Rockwell Allen-Bradley Studio 5000.
• Deep knowledge of Emergency Electrical Power System controls, including generators, turbines, UPS, and ATS.
• Proficiency in reading and developing electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Experience with power protection devices (Schweitzer, GE, ABB, Basler).
• Bachelor’s degree in EE/EET or ME/MET, or equivalent experience (Master’s with 6+ years or Associate’s with 10+ years).
• Strong technical communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Woodward Controls and Schweitzer SEL RTAC.
• Programming proficiency in Codesys Structured Text or C/C++.
