Description

You will design, implement, and commission automation solutions for industrial processes and machinery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop control system architectures, including component selection and schematic diagram detailing.
• Program controllers using PLC and DCS/DeltaV platforms and create process visualization via HMI/SCADA.
• Lead technical teams in identifying requirements, developing specifications, and commissioning systems at client facilities.
• Manage project execution including budgets, work breakdown structures, task scheduling, and financial reporting for projects up to $1M.
• Design electrical schematics and control panels, including power distribution under 480VAC.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/DeltaV platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, and Structured Text.
• Experience with ControlLogix and PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions.
• Technical knowledge of Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Modicon hardware/software.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Modbus.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of VBA, .NET, SQL, and Python for HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with industrial networking, fiber, wired, and wireless systems.
• Understanding of Batch/Recipes, OEE, MES, and ERP systems.
