Description

You will manage controls engineering for process improvement, capital expansion, and obsolescence mitigation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, debug, and modify Allen-Bradley PLC programs including ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
• Design electrical control systems and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from design and fabrication through installation and production start-up.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement iFix to prevent production downtime.
• Mentor junior engineers and train plant personnel on new technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Expertise in Allen-Bradley ControlLogix v20 systems or higher.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2020, 2021, or 2023 for schematics and control panel layouts.
• Experience programming HMI/SCADA systems and higher-level communication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of VFD and Servo programming.
• Solid mechanical background, specifically with cable winding and production machinery.
• Deep understanding of electro-mechanical systems and machine/motion control.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and component documentation.
• Ensuring equipment compliance with NEC, NFPA, and Lock-Out Tag-Out safety procedures.
