Description

You will drive the integration and development of automation applications to improve production efficiency and plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, prototype, and maintain automation products and components.
• Configure and program software systems to integrate legacy equipment into modern workflows.
• Optimize manufacturing processes, including process control, set-up, changeover, and equipment selection.
• Gather requirements from cross-functional teams to identify and plan system improvement opportunities.
• Write technical documentation covering functional requirements, safety, system behavior, and usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production automation and controls.
• Expert knowledge in PLC programming.
• Experience in HMI programming.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with CMMS implementation and administration.
• Background in maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with 6-axis robot programming and machine vision principles.
• Experience with data collection and creating material/design forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• SQL knowledge.
• Experience with adhesive applications.
