You will manage and modify critical industrial control systems for data center operations.
Responsibilities
Execute implementation and modification of Building Management Systems (Client), Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), and SCADA systems.
Oversee operation of chillers, pumps, and power distribution using PLCs and industrial control technologies.
Prepare HMI specifications including graphics standards for interpretation.
Implement and maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures (ESOP).
Develop corporate-level reporting dashboards to monitor PUE and performance trends to dynamically adjust infrastructure set points.
Coordinate with utility providers to automate demand and operational responses to upstream grid events.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Controls Engineer working with industrial control systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Controls, Computer Control Systems, Computer Science, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Experience with EPMS and SCADA systems.
Proficiency with hardware from manufacturers such as Beckhoff, Omron, or Siemens.
Preferred Skills
Advanced proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming languages, specifically structured text and ladder logic.
Experience with HMI/GUI development using platforms like AB Panelview, Ignition, Modbus, or SEL.
