Description

You will lead the design, programming, and validation of automation and tooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and cost specifications for tooling and automation projects.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Cognex vision systems, and LabVIEW data systems.
• Manage suppliers through the design, build, and testing phases of equipment.
• Lead design reviews, FAT/SAT, and validation processes including IQ, OQ, PQ, and MSA.
• Support R&D, DFA, and PFMEA activities to mitigate design risks and support product transfer from pilot to plant.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in controls and automation.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI programming.
• Experience with Cognex vision systems.
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW data systems.
• Knowledge of motion control, servo, and pneumatics.
• Understanding of safety standards and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with DFA and PFMEA.
• Experience with validation protocols: IQ, OQ, PQ, and MSA.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and automation strategy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing CAPEX (CER) and supplier selection.
