Description

You will manage automation projects and provide technical support for industrial control systems and desktop networks in Roxboro, NC.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple automation projects by reviewing documentation, developing sequences of operations, and directing contractors.
• Support IT functions including PLC, HMI, automation, server, and desktop hardware and software.
• Execute integration tasks such as SCADA development, process monitoring, and data collection.
• Analyze electrical schematics, design drawings, and panel layouts to maintain company systems.
• Analyze downtime related to IT activities and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• 2+ years of experience with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, design drawings, and panel layouts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Capacity to work 100% on-site in Roxboro, NC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens PLC and HMI systems.
• Experience with Allen Bradley systems.
• Experience working in a continuous process manufacturing facility.
