Description

You will own the full lifecycle of PLC functionality, from design to integration, while providing technical guidance to the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate new PLC functionality across all line conversions.
• Perform detailed design reviews for every functionality change to ensure quality and safety.
• Investigate root causes of manufacturing and safety issues to propose effective software resolutions.
• Create comprehensive PLC code documentation, including ladder logic comments and technical configurations.
• Align the technical team on PLC optimization tasks and verify maintenance manuals.

Required Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 60 months of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in PLC ladder logic development.
• Experience in designing, developing, and integrating new functionality.
• Solid background in root cause analysis for manufacturing and safety issues.
• Strong technical documentation and configuration writing skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience aligning technical teams on optimization tasks.
• Background in verifying maintenance manuals for industrial systems.
