Design, test, and maintain control systems for large-scale manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety compliance and operational uptime.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and install control systems for high-pressure die casting, 9- and 16-ton presses, and related machinery.
• Prepare and review electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control drawings in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, perform audits, and define preventive maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime.
• Install safety interlocks and safety circuits to ensure rigorous compliance with safety standards.
• Implement process improvements, manage supplier component evaluation, and maintain project documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure die casting controls and 9- or 16-ton presses.
• Proficiency with Rockwell and Mitsubishi controls, including systems that mimic Rockwell logic.
• Ability to set up HMIs and program in Python.
• Practical knowledge of ABB robots.
• Strong background in electrical controls and system troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with plastic injection and intrusion processes.
