Description

You will design, program, and test automation and control systems for manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement PLC/SCADA application software, including HMI configuration and Torque Control Box/Gun programming.
• Create electrical designs, panel layouts, wiring schematics, and bills of materials for new equipment.
• Troubleshoot automation failures, electrical problems, and software defects on the manufacturing floor.
• Lead commissioning, validation, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for equipment and skids.
• Manage plant equipment installations and modifications, supervising electrical and mechanical trades.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, maintaining, and commissioning PLC/HMI-based control systems.
• Proficiency in PLC Programming and Control Systems Design.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation Software (RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, PanelBuilder32, RSView, RSLinx).
• Strong knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL.
• Ability to read and red-line electrical schematic drawings and perform electrical sizing.
• Familiarity with regulatory codes including GMP, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA.
• Experience with Distribution Control System (DCS) programming.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
