You will develop, implement, and optimize control algorithms for fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) powertrains and system controllers.
Responsibilities
Develop embedded software for FCEV system controllers including Vehicle Control Units, Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Management, and Battery Management systems.
Implement software using model-based design in MATLAB/Simulink.
Derive controls and software requirements and design strategies from system requirements and component specifications.
Perform control strategy and software testing using MIL/HIL simulation and vehicle-level testing.
Integrate system controllers into commercial vehicle applications throughout the product development life cycle.
Required Skills
6+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead role.
2+ years of experience in requirement development.
2+ years of systems engineering experience.
Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for automotive or commercial vehicle application software development.
Experience with J1939 and UDS communication protocols.
Experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or CANape for network analysis and signal management.
Experience with software testing using MIL/HIL or on real systems like fuel cells or electrical powertrains.
Experience creating DFMEA and executing DVP.
Experience with OBD reporting, DSM configuration, and GIT version control.
Familiarity with ISO26262, MBD workflows, and software integration using Autosar or traditional methodologies.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
