Description

You will develop, implement, and optimize control algorithms for fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) powertrains and system controllers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded software development for Vehicle Control Units, Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Management, and Battery Management systems.
• Implement software using model-based design in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Derive controls and software requirements from system requirements and component specifications.
• Perform control strategy and software testing using MIL/HIL simulation and vehicle-level testing.
• Integrate system controllers into commercial vehicle applications throughout the product development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead role.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for automotive or commercial vehicle application software development.
• Experience with J1939 and UDS communication protocols.
• Experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or CANape for network analysis and signal management.
• Experience with software testing using MIL/HIL or on real systems like fuel cells or electrical powertrains.
• Experience creating DFMEA and executing DVP.
• Experience with OBD reporting, DSM configuration, and GIT version control.
• 2+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience in requirement development.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ISO26262, MBD workflows, and software integration using Autosar or traditional methodologies.
