Description

Design and implement natural language interactions for chatbots, virtual assistants, and conversational AI systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conversational flows, dialogues, and user journeys for voice and text-based interfaces.
• Create conversational personas, character profiles, and scripts that align with brand voice and tone.
• Develop conversational content, including system prompts and error handling, tailored to user context.
• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and product managers to implement and integrate designs.
• Conduct user research and testing to iterate on conversational flows based on user feedback and analytics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Conversational Designer, UX Writer, or in a related role.
• Deep understanding of conversational design principles, including dialogue structure, user intents, and context management.
• Proficiency with NLP concepts, such as intent recognition and entity extraction.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Botmock, Dialogflow, or IBM Watson Assistant.
• Strong ability to write concise, clear, and natural conversational content.
• Experience translating user needs into functional conversational experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in interaction design, UX design, linguistics, cognitive science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degrees in relevant fields.
• A portfolio showcasing specific conversational design projects.
