Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems in Chicago, IL, owning the full software lifecycle from business analysis to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Build microservices using Event Driven Architecture on AWS.
• Implement CI/CD practices and application resiliency standards.
• Deliver features within Agile methodologies.
• Own the full software lifecycle including testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with Event Driven Architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Background in Cloud Development.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in CI/CD DevOps.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Full stack development experience.
