Description

You will design, develop, and maintain core backend services and RESTful APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs for application integration.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with the Spring or Spring Boot framework.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and API development.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Java collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
• Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
