Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Core Java and DB2.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Implement client/server and web applications using systems analysis and design techniques.
• Debug proprietary systems and remediate break/fix items with minimal supervision.
• Perform quality checks and testing to ensure code stability.
• Evaluate new development tools to improve time-to-market for toolset enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong Core Java skills.
• Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Proficiency with DB2.
• Experience with JSP and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Weblogic or JBOSS.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE.
• Knowledge of the Development SDLC lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or Science/Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building REST web services.
• Knowledge of Brokerage account processes and distributed architecture patterns.
