Description

Design and implement software solutions to support business units. Manage the full software development lifecycle with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain client/server and Web applications.
• Perform quality checks and testing on peer code to remediate break/fix items.
• Evaluate new development tools to improve time-to-market for toolset enhancements.
• Apply systems analysis and design techniques to deliver robust software solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong Core Java skills.
• Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
• Hands-on experience using Eclipse IDE.
• Knowledge of DB2.
• Experience with JSP and JavaScript.
• Bachelor degree in an IT-related field or Science Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building REST web services.
• Knowledge of brokerage account processes and distributed architecture patterns.
