Description

You will develop high-quality back-end services using Java and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage using JUnit and Mockito.
• Define and apply design patterns, coding standards, and quality metrics.
• Build and maintain web services and APIs using REST and SOAP.
• Develop distributed systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other open-source messaging technologies.
• Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning.

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Expertise in Java 8+ and applying Java 9 features.
• Strong knowledge of Multi-threading, Collections, and the concurrent API.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and MVC frameworks.
• Proficiency in OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with microservices and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL data platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala, containerization, and public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of API management, Swagger, and security frameworks like PING or Okta.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
