Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot within an Agile or Waterfall environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage microservices using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Application Solution Architects to implement appropriate design patterns.
• Coordinate tasks between onshore and offshore teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and profile code to resolve technical issues.
• Manage multiple competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a developer capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including Streams, Files, and Collections.
• Experience with Microservices and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JaxB, JMS, JDBC, and Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Weblogic and MQ.
• Experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency with source code control, code quality tools, and debugging tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a relevant discipline, or comparable work experience.
