Description

You will build and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot within Agile or Waterfall environments. You own the full lifecycle from design pattern implementation to production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage microservices using Spring Boot and appropriate design patterns.
• Coordinate task execution between onshore and offshore development teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and profile code to resolve complex technical issues.
• Manage multiple competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a developer capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, specifically Streams, Files, and Collections.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with JAXB, JMS, JDBC, and Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Weblogic and Message Queue (MQ) technologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery.
• Proficiency with source code control, code quality tools, and debugging tools.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline, or comparable work experience.
