Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Core Java Developer for an onsite opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and enterprise backend application development. Previous experience working at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) is strongly preferred or required, depending on client guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Core Java.
•Apply object-oriented programming, collections, multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
•Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
•Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production systems.
•Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
•Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and Agile development activities.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise applications.

Required Skills :

•Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, preferably Java 8 or later.
•Excellent knowledge of OOP, collections, exception handling, generics, and concurrency.
•Experience with multithreading, synchronization, and JVM performance tuning.
•Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
•Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
•SQL and relational database experience.
•Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing frameworks.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

•Previous employment or project experience at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC).
•Banking or financial services domain experience.
•Exposure to Kafka, messaging systems, distributed systems, and transaction processing.
•Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
•Must be available to work onsite from Day 1 in Columbus, OH.
•Must confirm relocation or local availability before submission.
•Must demonstrate strong hands-on Core Java development skills.
•Prior JPMC experience should be verified, including project details and employment dates, if required by the client
