Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and microservices architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code with fully automated unit test coverage using JUnit and Mockito.
• Define and apply design patterns, coding standards, and quality metrics for various solutions.
• Develop and manage web services and APIs using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Build and scale applications using messaging technologies and data platforms.
• Operate within Linux/Unix environments using shell scripts.

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Expertise in Java 8 and above, including Java 9 features.
• Deep understanding of Multi-threading, Collections, and the concurrent API.
• Strong knowledge of OOPs, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Spring Boot and MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other open source messaging systems.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL data platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and build tools such as Ant, Maven, or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and public cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of API management, Swagger, and security frameworks like PING or Okta.
• Experience in TDD/BDD, Scrum/Agile, and automated integration testing.
