Description

You will develop and maintain core financial applications using Java, SQL, and distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and production support.
• Analyze complex technical requirements and deliver reliable software solutions.
• Perform unit and system testing and contribute to performance tuning efforts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to align technical delivery with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of programming experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Applications (BE/B.Tech/MCA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to write complex PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Experience with MySQL for business logic implementation and advanced querying.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for distributed messaging and stream processing.
• Proficiency in using Redis for caching or session management.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
