Description

Own the development, maintenance, and performance tuning of core Java services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust REST APIs using Core Java 8, 11, and 17.
• Apply OOP concepts and design patterns to solve complex engineering problems.
• Manage multithreading, concurrency, and collections for efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor JVM health, including garbage collection and memory management.
• Write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience with Core Java.
• Deep understanding of Java 8, 11, and 17 features.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL database knowledge and query optimization skills.
• Experience with build tools Maven and Gradle.
• Version control expertise using Git.
• Solid grasp of JVM internals, including GC and memory management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
