Description

Design and build low-latency Java applications for real-time market data ingestion, processing, and distribution.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based systems for market data handling and distribution.
• Implement low-latency, high-availability architectures for real-time data streams.
• Integrate with external market data providers and trading platforms via APIs.
• Optimize existing codebases for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues alongside cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+) and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with real-time data streaming and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with SQL/relational databases and API development.
• Experience operating within UNIX/Linux environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in financial markets, specifically Market Data or Fixed Income.
• Knowledge of fixed income securities and interest rate products.
