Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and EJB.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend solutions using Java and EJB.
• Maintain and optimize applications running on IBM WebSphere.
• Integrate backend services with UI and third-party systems alongside architects and analysts.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide service documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with EJB (Session Beans, MDBs).
• Expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server (v8.5 or higher preferred).
• Proficiency with JDBC, JPA, and relational databases such as DB2 or Oracle.
• Experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, exception handling, and performance tuning.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JMS and message-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
