Description

Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade backend systems using Core Java and Spring Framework. Own the release pipeline, mentor developers, and drive technical standards for scalable, secure applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance backend services using Core Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
• Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize JVM performance and system scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Coordinate CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native deployment activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, including multithreading, concurrency, and collections.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and RESTful API development.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and SQL performance tuning.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services domains (policy administration, claims, billing).
• Strong leadership skills for onsite/offshore coordination and Agile/Scrum ceremony facilitation.
