Description

You will lead database migrations from Oracle to MySQL and maintain high-availability infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Execute Oracle to MySQL migrations, including schema conversion and data modeling.
• Design and deploy data table structures, forms, reports, and queries.
• Configure and maintain MySQL instances within Red Hat 7/8 environments.
• Optimize SQL queries to ensure high performance and data availability.
• Perform regression testing to ensure migration scripts maintain existing functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database management and migration.
• Deep understanding of both Oracle and MySQL architectures.
• Proficiency with database migration tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, MySQL Workbench, or custom scripting.
• Experience working on Linux platforms.
• Expertise in MySQL configuration and maintenance on Red Hat 7/8.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and schema conversion.
• Ability to optimize SQL queries for performance.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in PHP, Perl, or Python.
