Description

You will build and maintain the foundational infrastructure and platform services used by engineering teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain microservices using Python, Go, or Java.
• Implement service mesh capabilities with Istio.
• Design and secure REST APIs and internal service communications.
• Optimize platform reliability through SRE and chaos engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• AWS cloud platform expertise.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of UNIX environments and networking (HTTP, TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS).
• CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions).
• Database management with MySQL.
• Security implementation (IAM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0) and observability (New Relic, Kibana, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch).
