Description

You will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems within a complex, multi-language architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend systems using Ruby on Rails and Java to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement BFF/Micro Frontends to facilitate communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Optimize existing codebase for coupling, performance, and scalability.
• Implement data storage solutions using relational or NoSQL databases.
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability and security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Ruby and Java programming languages.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
• Experience with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like RSpec or JUnit.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka message brokers.
