Description

Lead the accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and personnel management for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Recommend, implement, and monitor compliance with all accounting and payroll policies.
• Prepare accounting ledgers, plant and corporate reports, and financial statements.
• Manage finance personnel through training, direction, and productivity targets.
• Coordinate with independent auditors and taxing authorities.
• Conduct cost studies and financial analyses to recommend cost reductions and profit improvements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in accounting with increasing responsibility.
• 3+ years of experience managing general accounting functions.
• Experience preparing accounting ledgers and financial reporting.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct complex accounting studies and cost analyses.
• CPA or CMA certification.

Preferred Skills

• MBA degree.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
