Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Controls MES Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting AVEVA/Wonderware's ArchestrA Control Systems and MES applications.
- Modifying or creating Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications.
- Implementing AVEVA's Operations, Performance, and Quality MES modules.
- Working with AVEVA's Business Process Management (BPM) software and integrating Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Utilizing AVEVA's BI Gateway for data management, making data more accessible and manageable.
- Providing data and functionality through Rockwell PLCs.
- Developing and maintaining Microsoft Power BI infrastructure and reports (on-premises and cloud-based).
- Migrating reports from SSRS and Tableau to Power BI.
- Collaborating with engineers to gather and transform data for reporting.
- Creating complex DAX calculations and ensuring data security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Controls & Automation Engineering, particularly within the Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods industries.
- Expertise in Ladder Logic Programming with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix).
- Advanced HMI Development experience, preferably with Wonderware (AVEVA) ArchestrA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio C#.
- Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL database systems, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Ability to develop and maintain Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AVEVA MES and .NET programming.
- Proficiency in Power BI development, including data modeling and data visualization.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and Tableau.
- Power BI certifications are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related discipline.
- Open to 25% travel.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
