Description

You will manage and analyze production costs in an FMCG manufacturing environment to drive efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost analysis across raw materials, labor, and overheads.
• Implement cost control measures to reduce wastage and optimize resource allocation.
• Manage inventory costs and ensure accurate valuation of materials and finished goods.
• Develop budgets and cost forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures.
• Prepare cost reports, profitability analyses, and production performance metrics for senior management.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting techniques, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the FMCG sector.
• Competency in Cost Accounting and CMA.
• Ability to perform variance analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of taxation laws related to manufacturing costs.
